ENGLAND UNDERSTANDS
MORE ABOUT LOVE
THAN WE DO
--]o[--

For anyone to understand more about love than we do, is really not such an amazing feat, since Americans understand little to nothing about this most important emotion on earth. Americans are incredibly good at a whole lot of things, but relationships, as portrayed by Hollywood's movies, television's pityful mini-plays, and the hopeless attempts of our writers, are nothing to be proud of.

In stark contrast, I find that the British have a hold on this stuff. They understand it. They're not afraid of human emotions, as we tend to be. Every great film about love between human beings, has been a British one.

In "Love Actually"......there exists such a beautiful portrait of a father-son relationship, that it alone, merits seeing the entire movie.

I've been told that English mothers are exceptionally caring towards their children, and that this explains why those children mature with a profound appreciation for love as an important value.

To Americans, love is sex, and nothing else.
Maybe that's why we seem to have so many sexual predators?
Hmmm......that might just be an
interesting correlary, don't you think?
